ARSENAL have been given a MASSIVE boost in their pursuit of Juventus wonderkid Kenan Yildiz after the Italian giants confirmed contract talks are still ongoing.

The Gunners are ready to splash a whopping €100 MILLION on the Turkish sensation, and Mikel Arteta won't take no for an answer.

Chiellini Opens the Door

Juventus sporting director Giorgio Chiellini has tried to play it cool, but reading between the lines? Arsenal fans should be BUZZING.

"Kenan has a long contract with us; everything can't be resolved in a week," Chiellini admitted. "Our shared desire is to continue together."

Shared desire? SHARED? That's not exactly a ringing endorsement, is it? When a club REALLY wants to keep a player, they don't talk about "shared desires" – they slam the door shut and throw away the key!

Yildiz on FIRE

And here's why Arsenal are so desperate to land him: the 19-year-old is absolutely TEARING IT UP right now. Three goals and an assist in his last three Serie A games. Decisive passes in back-to-back Champions League matches. The kid is the REAL DEAL.

He can play as a number 10 or out on the left wing – exactly the kind of versatility that Arteta LOVES. With Martin Odegaard and Eberechi Eze already fighting for the playmaker spot, Yildiz could be the missing piece on that left flank.

The Price Tag Problem

Now, €100m is a LOT of dosh. Even for Arsenal's owners. But when you consider his Estimated Transfer Value is around €70m and he's got a contract until 2029, you can see why Juve are playing hardball.

But here's the thing – if those contract talks drag on and Yildiz gets itchy feet, Arsenal will be waiting with open arms and a MASSIVE chequebook.

Watch this space, Gooners. January could be VERY interesting indeed.
