Liverpool got the three points against Tottenham on Saturday, but gaffer Arne Slot won't be sleeping easy tonight after watching his star man Alexander Isak limp off the pitch in agony.
The Swede had just fired the Reds ahead with a cracking finish, assisted by the brilliant Florian Wirtz, when Micky van de Ven came flying in with a challenge that left Isak in a heap.
And it didn't look good. Not good at all.
Slot's Gut Feeling Spells Trouble
When asked about Isak after the final whistle, Slot didn't mince his words: "I don't have any news on him. But if a player scores and then gets injured and doesn't come back on the pitch, and also doesn't try to come back - that's usually not a good thing."
The Dutchman added: "That is just gut feeling, nothing medical."
In other words: it's looking dicey for the Reds' main man.
Spurs Self-Destruct in Spectacular Fashion
While Liverpool will be sweating over Isak, Spurs fans will be tearing their hair out after watching their side completely bottle it at Anfield.
First, Xavi Simons got himself sent off after just 33 minutes for an absolute shocker on Virgil van Dijk - raking his studs down the big man's calf. Absolute shambles.
Then Cristian Romero joined him in the showers with a second red card deep into stoppage time.
Even with just nine men, Spurs managed to pull one back through Richarlison on 83 minutes, but by then the damage was well and truly done.
Alisson Offers Hope for the Reds Faithful
While Slot looked worried, goalkeeper Alisson was singing a different tune about his teammate.
"I think he will be okay," the Brazilian told Stadium Astro. "Happy for him for scoring the goal but, of course, we don't want him to be injured. Hopefully it's just a knock, nothing too serious because he can help our team so much with his quality."
Liverpool fans will be praying Alisson's got it right and the boss has got it wrong. Either way, we'll know more in the coming days.
Hugo Ekitike also got on the scoresheet for the Reds, continuing his impressive run of form since arriving at Anfield.
